Another question about our birthday cake?

the party is sunday and I will be taking care of my daughter along with a 8 week old and a 4 year old on saturday so i will not have time to make the cake that day. since its layers and i only have 2 pans i was wondering if its ok to bake today or tomorrow the cake and then freeze it unless there is another option and then the day of the party i can make it as in filling with frosting and put it all together so basically make everything today or tomorrow but not putting it together till the day of
