Are these labour pains?? xxx?

im 39weeks pregnant..Have been gettin really bad pressure pains when i walk between my legs and its very sore :( my docter told me my baby is ready and engaged . I can feel him in my pelvic area moving. Tis morning i woke up at 11.30 with period pains that were sore and i also had tightening pains in my uterus area which felt like baby turning, but was very sore? are these labour pains?? xxx
