ATV problem please help?

my 2004 polaris sportsman 500 4x4 and fan wont come on to cool the engine and i cant find the relay, and some people have said it dosen't have one, i have a new brute force but want the polaris just to have for friends to ride so any help would be greatly appreciated thanks all
