Does boot camp count as TIS?

so i shipped out to boot camp on january 17th...do the 3 months at Parris Island and the 1 month at Camp Geiger count towards the TIS to pick up PFC?...would that mean i pick up PFC in july? (providing i go the month without getting NJP'd lol)...and since i'll be at MOS school how would they inform me of it?..would they just say hey, start wearing chevrons or what? lol
